You will need to add a featured carasel, or listing box to your front page and set for that to show featured listings.

1) You need to add featured listings.
2) You need to display featured boxes on home page or install plugin listing box and create new box with featured order and display on home page.

If you added listings with free package and this package wasn't like a featured and then you go to admin panel and set featured for this plan system cannot change all listings to featured. Only new listings will be with featured.
That's why you should add new listings with featured plan or upgrade existing listings to featured.
