Every webmaster wants to find a sure way to stop spammers and bots from attacking his website and flooding it with inappropriate content. At the same time, every site owner is concerned with CAPTCHAs and other anti-spam tools; if they are too complicated for users to solve, some will leave your website not willing to go through a form completion. To help you keep your website protected from spam, we have integrated a Google reCATPCHA plugin into Flynax, which is easy for users and hard on bots.

How it Works

Armed with the state-of the-art technology, Google reCAPTCHA helps your site rise above spam and makes life easier for real users. The Plugin replaces the default captcha with the Google reCAPTCHA thus providing enhanced protection for your classifieds site from any type of spam and abusive actions by bots.

Front end

With the plugin installed, users will no longer face a regular CAPTCHA requiring users to decipher a distorted text. Instead, Google reCAPTCHA will only ask a user to check the box confirming that he is not a robot with a single click.

The new reCAPTCHA from Google will help your users save their time by passing a reCAPTCHA in one click. In cases when a plugin cannot confirm whether he is dealing with a human or bot, a user will be given additional image-based questions thus ensuring that spam will not find a leeway to your website.

Back End

Since the plugin is integrated into our script as Google API, its configuration is done first on Google’s configuration page, and then in back end of your Flynax-powered website. Google offers a basic manual helping you set up the plugin; however, we adjusted it to reflect integration specifics into our script. To get started, fill in the fields with information about your website, after which, you will see the fields with available API keys. Locate and copy a Site key (public) and a Secret Key to the corresponding fields in a plugin settings of your admin panel.

The plugin manager offers you to select a color scheme that will best fit the visual concept of your website. Currently the plugin offers light and dark schemes for the plugin.
